Cody and Lacey got married Friday, November 6 at the Malcolm Hotel in Canmore. They decided on an outdoor ceremony and we were a little nervous that it would be windy, snowy or freezing as often happens in the mountains. But typical Alberta decided to surprise us and they ended up with the most warm, sunny day! I can honestly say I have photographed colder weddings in the summer!
They said "I do" in front of the stunning Three Sisters backdrop. When Lacey came outside to walk down the aisle with her Dad, Cody's face couldn't of looked any happier (you'll see what I mean below!) We headed off to Quarry Lake for their bridal party and couples portrait session and pretty much spent a couple hours capturing them dancing, drinking champagne and just having a ton of fun.
Their reception was full of lots of laughs, video messages sent from friends and family that couldn't be there and some more dancing.
